DUPR & Player Level Verification

Kampus Pickle Clash is a fun, friendly and competitive team tournament. All games are played for the competition and enjoyment of the event and will NOT be submitted to DUPR.

For ROOKIE and CHALLENGER divisions we use the DUPR system only to determine player levels and team eligibility and to help create fair and balanced categories.

  • Teams must meet the DUPR requirements of the category they enter.
  • The Kampus Pickle organizing team reserves the right to review and verify the playing level of any player or team before or during the tournament.
  • Players who are NR (Not Rated) have to be assessed by the organizer and assigned a playing level before the tournament.
  • Any player found to have deliberately misrepresented or concealed their playing level will result in the immediate disqualification of the entire team.

For ELITE division the DUPR system is not used to restrict eligibility to enter the tournament.

  • There is no DUPR limit for teams or individual players.
  • Players who are NR (Not Rated) may participate.

How the team match works

  • Each team clash is 5 games: Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles.
  • The two players in the Singles matches cannot play the Mixed Doubles of the same clash — every player competes in 2 games per clash.
  • This ensures that every team member contributes to the overall team result.
  • Teams may change their rotation before each clash; once a clash begins the lineup is locked.
  • Rally scoring, first to 15. At 14–14, the next point won on serve takes the game.
  • Each game is worth 1 team point. Win 3 of 5 games to win the clash. All 5 games are played in full.

Group stage & finals

  • Each division: 8 teams in 2 brackets of 4, full round robin — 3 clashes per team in the group stage.
  • Top 2 teams from each bracket advance to the semifinals.
  • 1st Place – Bracket A vs 2nd Place – Bracket B
  • 1st Place – Bracket B vs 2nd Place – Bracket A
  • The two semifinal winners advance to the Final
